The all-new EPIC WAVE WING V2 sees small but important performance adjustments from our premiere version and is only available as a custom order. With Epic moving to a direct sales model, it allows us to be solely responsible for customer satisfaction and price our equipment at direct to customer prices.  

The new EPIC WAVE WING V2 has been specifically designed to thrive in the surf. If you like crushing waves, you’re going to need a tool that was crafted to meet your every riding demand. Our WAVE WING will have you tearing down a wave and doing cutbacks with a perfectly stable wing giving you that true surf feeling. In fact, it's so stable that beginners will absolutely fall in love with this wing. Intermediate riders will appreciate the power and predictable stability compared to other wings in the market.

When you order your WAVE WING, you have 3 color combinations and 2 handle styles (Boom or Small grab handles) to choose from depending on your preferences.

Small grab Handles – Two stiff grab handles spaced perfectly for a balanced feel bookend a softer middle handle on the centre strut and provide reliable grip and handling flexibility. This enables easy hand movement up and down the strut while always maintaining control and mobility. The soft handle in the mid strut area will make water starts even easier and aid with those new tricks you’ve been trying.

Boom handle – This option includes a rigid carbon handle that spans the length of the strut offering maximum flexibility for hand positioning. You're able to position your hands without any restrictions. 

These two grab handle options have a stiffer design so that you can effectively and quickly pump to get on plane as well as easily power or depower the wing with small hand/wrist movements.  

We’ve packed lots of exciting features and performance characteristics into this dedicated wave wing. By tucking the wing tips by 22%, we now have unmatched stability, whether you’re learning to catch your first set, or you’re an experienced rider. Having a rigid, stable, and powerful wing will simply have you dropping in on more waves with loads of confidence compared to other wings. If you’re new to winging, the shape of our WAVE WING makes it easy for beginners due to its forgiving nature. 

Another key detail is our new bladder feature on the strut. We’ve included a red tab where the strut meets the leading edge. If you need to repair the strut bladder, this tab is used to prevent twists and uneven bladder insertion. It ensures that the bladder sits in the strut perfectly every time.

For those looking to push the limits, our wings are designed and built with durability in mind. The construction process is second to none. We reinforce key areas with scuff pads and neoprene covers to protect the large volume valve. The construction and overall detailed build can withstand even the most aggressive rider demands ensuring longevity of your wing. Dacron has been dobuled where the strut and leading edge meet making a stiffer and efficient frame. Have a look at our photos to get a sense of the incredible detail and care we put into every product.

Waves are organic and can change shape quickly causing riders to have to rebalance themselves. The thick strut tips allow the rider to dip or drag a wingtip into the water for balance. With more curve to the wing tips, it won’t cause excessive drag and throw the rider off balance. It’s a small detail that adds a lot of support to riding style and individual technique. The curved wing tips also makes those water starts quick and effortless. 

To feel that natural surf feeling, you need to be able to shut off the wings power quickly. With the rigid handles, enhanced strut stiffness and curved wing tips, it provides immediate release of power, even in strong winds. Enjoy that ride as long as you can, and then pull in to turn on the power and get back to catching the next wave. The EPIC WAVE WING V2 has loads of low-end power giving you the ability to quickly position yourself in the right spot at the right time. Overpowered? Not a concern balanced and efficient wing feels relaxed even in strong conditions.

If you are looking for a wing that is amazing for jumping, racing, and doing freestyle tricks look to the custom EPIC WING V3. This model was designed specifically to be well rounded. 

For light wind solutions, check out the GHOST WING V2. It’s designed from the ground up to perform efficiently in light winds. It takes advantage of lighter canopy material and has no windows and less graphics to reduce weight.

The EPIC WAVE WING V2 bag allows for several packing options. You can use it as a small compact backpack for short storage periods (not recommended for long periods due to creases in the window panels) or you can extend the bag so the windows can be rolled opposed to folded (greatly increasing the longevity of your wing). Thirdly, keep the strut inflated by expanding the bag further by opening the mesh compartment which Dimitri recommends. This way you’ll be even better prepared for your next session.

The EPIC WAVE WING V2 comes with the bag, wrist leash (with swivel), waist belt (to attach your board and wrist leash if you want) and harness lines.
