When Dimitri was teaching his son to kiteboard, he found that adult sized equipment presented frustration and safety challenges. Designed for small people, the Junior Pro 6G Xtend bar is safety minded and packed with features.
The Junior Pro 6G Xtend bar measures 42 cm but is expandable to 52 cm with a simple adjustment to the bar end. It only takes seconds. A 15-meter line set plus 4-meter extensions are included and gives more versatility when tuning for wind conditions.
The bar itself is coated with a strong, contoured EVA material for longevity and comfort. We’ve removed the stopper ball for even greater safety capabilities, and put the more/ less power straps well within arms reach given the shorter throw. This is an ideal solution not only for young riders, but adults who may struggle to reach the depower mechanism on our other control systems.
We’ve constructed the Junior Pro 6G Xtend bar with the same strong materials as the Freeride, Dimitri Pro and Infinity bars. It will withstand the rigour and strain that experienced riders demand, ensuring durability for all ages and experience levels.
Streamlined floats keep the bar tidy and compact. We continue to use segmented bar colors (red on the left, black on the right) for steering recall. We’ve placed the self rescue leash attachment just above the float on the left hand side.Junior Pro 6G Xtend bar features
6G JUNIOR PRO BAR Features
This control system includes a much shorter bar throw compared to our adult sized control systems. Everything is within easy reach.
The kid sized chicken loop and reliable quick release make it one of the easiest and efficient systems available today.
This control system is built with the same high grade materials as our other bars, and is compatible with all EPIC kites. This is key as young riders progress and want to move on to larger kite sizes and different models.
